I previously followed the cleanse for 5 days. It really cleans you out. It was necessary to stay close to a bathroom during that time. I now have continued to use weekly to feel cleaned out well. I don't choose to use more often due to bathroom visits. The medication is a little harsh but very effective. I have just purchased for a second bottle since it is so effective.
